Being that all of my girls are in different states, we discussed dresses mostly over email. I would send them pictures of short dresses I liked in the color (and fabric!) that we were going with. I say fabric because once we had all agreed on dresses, I went to Davids Bridal to see them all next to each other and get their choices in the system with their names. Well, the one my sister chose, was actually a different fabric than the rest, and the color looked off! I was so glad I found this out before they ordered their dresses. Kristine and I found another dress she liked, and I went back and told the ladies at davids bridal.
Here is what we came up with:.

I was so happy to get this out of the way and have a final decision made. David's Bridal had all of their information and dress choices in their system, all they have to do is go in by June 1 and get them ordered.
So I thought! At one point in the wedding planning, Lance was talking to his mom and aunt on the phone. He was telling the them WRONG information! AH! I was like "LANCE! Our wedding is on a Friday... not a Saturday..." (Among other things!) Thats when I decided to do a newsletter. That way everyone would have all the correct information from the person who is handling everything. (ahem.. ME)
Back to my point though. Recently, Kristine told me that she "didn't realize the dresses were short." I also had Chrissy (Lance's step mom/Laren's Mom) ask me "what if Lauren doesn't like that dress once she trys it on?"
Oy.
I am bound and determined not to let things bother me or get me all cranky/bridezilla. So I told my sister she could look at longer dresses if she wanted, but she would be the only one in a long dress. Her response? "No... YOU'LL be in a long dress too!" She is such a brat. I told Chrissy that Lauren can choose whatever dress she wants as long as it is the correct color and fabric. I am determined to have them all be different dresses though, unless they all like one style, then they can all do that. I don't want two in one dress and one in another though.
Here is something I put together to show how it is all coming together.

Not too shabby!
How did you choose your bridesmaids style? Are you matching or letting them choose their own?
